In talking with Dan last week at the IT Summit, we thought that creating specific Service Requests by area for general questions from the New Era team might allow for better traceability for the hours spent without creating a need for a ticket for every small question that might arise. These Service Requests are to be used for researching questions from the team, and should not exceed 4 hours per inquiry. If there is greater research that is needed, my expectation would be that the BMS team would request a separate ticket. This is for those quick and high level research in order to get to either a resolution or a timeline for what the project would take.
